About the Team
Our Sandblasters work closely with our Liner Bonders, Painters and Welders. This team forms part of the greater Production team which also includes Assembly, the Armour Shop, our Turret team and our Prototype shop. This role will be based full time at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence in Redbank.
About the Role
As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for ensuring that the preparatory work and sandblasting is carried out efficiently. This position is essential to delivering the highest quality blasted products to the Paint and Weld teams, ready for their next production task.
As a Sandblaster, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
Cleaning and preparing surfaces using air-powered sandblasting equipment;
Applying paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces;
Check conditions before sandblasting;
Selecting, setting up, using and maintaining surface
