Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to ascertain requirements and dimensions for the installation processes.
• Prepare and finalize the installation of windows and doors, ensuring all components are correctly aligned and functional.
• Install and adjust hardware on doors and windows to guarantee smooth operation and secure locking mechanisms.
• Conduct detailed site surveys to measure openings for windows and doors and coordinate with the design team to create precise manufacturing plans.
• Inspect installed units to evaluate the need for any adjustments or replacements, suggesting enhancements when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with architects and contractors to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Contribute to the team by sharing technical knowledge and mentoring both new and established team members.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and actively engage in ongoing professional development.
• Manage materials selection, ordering, and preparation, ensuring optimal layout and assembly for installation.
• Demonstrate skill in woodworking, including cutting and joining techniques, with the ability to repair and modify existing structures as needed.
Hours: Full-time, approximately 38 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in carpentry.
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
