Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Chef de Partie who will play a key role in ensuring the consistent quality and presentation of our dishes. You will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food preparation, and collaborating with the broader kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Salary:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section.
Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development and the creation of new Italian-inspired dishes.
Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimize wastage.
Ensure efficient, cost-effective production while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
Culinary qualifications with a focus on Italian or Mediterranean cuisine are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
