Background
Grit Transport and Logistics specializes in providing efficient, reliable, and customized transport solutions. We offer 3PL services, warehousing and delivery of goods ranging from small parcels to pallets. Additionally, we have a warehouse on the Sunshine Coast to serve our local customers.
Daily tasks include (but not exclusive):
1. Manage fleet maintenance and service scheduling to ensure all vehicles comply with safety standards.
2. Supervise transport staff, providing training and enforcing company policies.
3. Optimize logistics strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
4. Address client needs and complaints, and continuously improve processes.
5. Oversee and manage fleet.
6. Oversee daily transport operations to ensure timely deliveries, including routing and vehicle allocation.
7. Monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement by integrating new technologies and best practices.
8. Ensure all operations comply with legal and safety regulations.
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant field such as project management, logistics, transport management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transport or logistics management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, time management, customer relations, staff coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• Australian work rights required.
Annual salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + superannuation
