Location: Yarrabilba
3 years duration

General working hours are 6.30am – 3.00pm plus there is opportunity for overtime.
Breaks are 9.30am-10.00am and 1.00pm – 1.30pm

Construction forms a major part of a landscape apprenticeship role so you will be exposed to carrying out foundational work, such as laying drainage or installing irrigation systems. They will assist tradespeople in reshaping the landscape with slopes or terraces and create special features, such as landscape entry statements, setting out playgrounds / parks, forming concrete features, forming concrete pathways, paving, rock gardens, ornamental gardens and all other aspects of landscape construction. There will also be opportunities to assist in building walls, erect fences and erect structures, such as amenities buildings and decks.

The role is very Dynamic and ever changing. The ethos at the team is to mentor and support our new and young workers. New workers are enrolled into our new and young worker program that would see him partnered with an experienced mentor and undertake specific training. The program is designed to encourage actions that build the capabilities of young workers to be safe and productive at work, rather than just relying on them to speak up or ask the right questions.

Must be an Australian resident with:
• A strong work ethic and passion to work with your hands
• White Card
• Current Driver's License and your own transport

• Ideally, have your own basic tools (including nail bag)
