To be based in Wetherill Park, we are seeking a full-time Software Machine Programmer with at least 4 years of relevant experience and a minimum of a Bachelor qualification. Salary of $75,000 - $80,000 + super.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Interpreting project blueprints received from the client as program requirements and shaping it to a functional document for designing.
2. Performing test runs by using 3D simulator and adjust until the product meets blueprint functional specifications.
3. Shaping the blueprint specifications in form of design by using AutoCad and to perform an efficient nesting that needs to be coded for the machine.
4. Programming the toolpaths and generate G-code from the imported design with respect to client requirements in order to shape a compatible program file (NC file) for the machine.
5. Modelling the cutting paths by using EnRoute, cncCAD, CypCut, and Powermill, in order to generate G-code for the machine.
6. Familiarity with G-coding a 5-axis CNC machine and ensuring precision programming for complex 3D geometries.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving runtime machine errors caused by the NC code
8. Debug the generated scripts which is running on the machine that may cause system crash.
9. Ensuring reusability and modifications of the existing design models in order to achieve efficiency and to save the design time for the client.
10. Designing programs and setting up machines to produce the component outlined in the program.
11. Thorough documentation of the generated design models along with code commenting for future referencing and understanding for other programmers.
12. Proving the client with design specification document for nesting approval.
13. Ensuring the business flow of operation is strictly followed in order to assure the quality service for the client.
14. Assuring ongoing software and system maintenance by using the latest and updated version system software (G-code compiler) in order to keep up the customer needs and to boost the system performance with latest technology.
15. Prioritizing and maintaining the jobs by using project management tool (ClickUp) in order to monitor the current status for higher management.
16. Ensuring the machines connectivity with the backend network hub in order to monitor system logs and to keep the system up and running.
