In this role, you will prepare documentation and complete reporting to perform maintenance and repairs to existing pipelines and for commissioning new pipelines. You should be mathematically minded and highly accurate in your work, possess excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
Meeting with clients to define project requirements.
Assistance in designing, developing, and testing project requirements
Perform studies and analyses, including conducting site surveys and research, to determine pipeline specifications and placement as well as pump sizes.
Preparing and presenting technical materials such as procedures, SWMS, reports, cost estimates and specific project requirements.
Calculating project requirements such as materials, budget, and time.
Managing the project workflow and budget.
Performing quality control assessments and ensuring that project works comply with all technical engineering and safety regulations.
Work with team to develop and improve technology for engineering, including technical assistance with hardware and software.
Keep up to date on advances in technology for engineering and propose new ideas to enhance and advance current procedures and methods.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
A minimum of four years of experience as a pipeline engineer or similar.
Experience with pipeline construction techniques such as welding, excavation, and assembly.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Willingness to travel and work in harsh weather conditions.
