Role Summary:
A great opportunity for an Automation Systems Test Engineer to join a highly skilled technical team working with leading edge technology on projects comprising of complex workflows and process management systems. Role would involve analysing user needs, produce requirements documentation and system plans, encode, test, debug, maintain and document programs and applications.
JOB TITLE: Automation Engineer
JOB TYPE: Full Time
WORK LOCATION: Melbourne
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Liaise with the stakeholders and identify the requirements for automation framework.
• Evaluate all requirements of business, systems and develop Automation strategy according to needs
• Creating and maintaining Automation frameworks for Mobile Automation using Appium and Espresso
• Framework creation and Scripting for API automation, Rest and Soap services
• Identifying improvements within existing tool sets and scripts to increase the reusability and reliability
• Setting up DevOps pipeline to integrate automation scripts with deployment jobs
• Evaluation of new tools/technologies/platforms in automation space, performing POCs and implementation where it best fits
• Integrate Front end test scripts with Automated Visual test tools
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Defining the processes and standards to automation practice and adhering to that.
• Evaluation of Cloud device providers and integrating them with existing automation scripts based on outcome
• Publish automation artifacts including architecture, design etc. in Jira and share reports to stakeholder as and when required
• Prepare release document and working closely with the Scrum team to ensure a smooth deployment of the automation changes to the production environment SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Technology with 10+ experience in IT and Automation
• Functional:- Extensive knowledge and experience on Australian Health-Care Domain
• Front End (Web): - Selenium (Webdriver), Junit/TestNg , Testcafe, Cypress
• Mobility: - Appium, Espresso, SauceLab/Browserstack/Device form clouds
• API automation: - Rest Assured, Soap UI, Postman
• Agile Tools: Jira, Confluence, Xray etc
• CICD: - Jenkins
• Languages: - Java / C# / Javascript To be signed by the associate’s on-site manager/supervisor (Australia)
