Red Centre Technology Partners is in need of experienced ICT Support Technician to join their friendly team of Professionals on a full time and permanent basis. The successful candidate will work closely with IT Technicians and Managers in managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure, and must demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels id availability, performance and security.
Tasks and Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide end-to-end IT support expertise for users and equipment, ensuring smooth daily business operation.
Adapt to existing programs to meet users' requirements
Manage user accounts, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain the IT asset database.
Utilise monitoring tools to identify and resolve potential IT issues before they impact users.
Continuously improve ICT services to enhance sustainability and efficiency within the organisation.
Repair and replace peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems
Design and maintain web sites
Ensure efficient use of applications and equipment
Respond and offer solution to inquiries about software and hardware problems
Qualifications & experience
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject and Certifications
Solid Cloud experience, preferably AWS and Azure
Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g. VMware, Virtual Box)
Experience in monitoring systems
Experience in automation software preferred ConnectWise Automate
Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to meet deadlines
Time management skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts
Discretion and confidentiality
Excellent understanding of computer networks and systems
Organisational skills
