On-Trac AG provide farming machinery, light construction equipment, spare parts and mechanical services across their three locations in Bathurst, Mudgee and Robin Hill. Currently they are recruiting for experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join their service department in Bathurst NSW 2795.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Pre-delivery of new tractors
- Assembly of new attachments and hydraulic systems
- Servicing and maintenance of tractors and farm equipment
- Analyse and assess performance graphs to ensure functionality and diagnosis is in accordance with manufacturing specifications
- Dismantle defective tractors and components for repairs
- Reassemble tractors and farming machines and equipment following repair, testing operations and make adjustments
- Maintain maintenance records and adhere to work procedures and workplace policies
- Selecting correct tools and equipment for the assembling and installing of new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine, tools and controls and hydraulic power systems
- Ensuring works are within specifications and regulations including material costing’s, quantities, machine requirements and timeframe.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have a Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years or relevant experience preferably with farming machinery and equipment
- Professional, confident and positive approach to work
- OH&S awareness
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
