Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in our local area. We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in our Acute Medical Unit and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Cardiac experience is desired, however training will be provided to the right candidate. Ward 4B is a 36 bed ward consisting of 6 dedicated beds for CCU and 30 high acuity medical beds with a cardiac and respiratory focus. 4B is a fast-paced and dynamic place to work with plenty of opportunity for learning and progression. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team of dedicated nurses, and multidisciplinary team, providing quality, evidenced based care. Opportunities to rotate to Cath/Intervention Lab and Intensive Care Unit have been offered previously to 4B staff for ward-based upskilling potential. Further, tertiary qualifications can be undertaken via the UTAS program, 4B/ CCU also offer dedicated Coronary Care and Cardiothoracic intensive study days (see below for a great range of other benefits). As an experience Nurse you will bring to our team:

Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Minimum 1 to 2 years in an Acute hospital setting experience is essential
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and patient focused
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
Flexibility with shift allocations and the commitment to work a rotating roster. We offer 12hr shifts!

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79/ per hour.
