Painting Trade Worker

About the Job:
Magic Coat Painting Pty Ltd is a well-established dynamic and customer-focused company that specializes in commercial and non-commercial painting. We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, and self-driven worker to join our busy team.
You will be responsible for:
• Examining and painting exterior and interior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of commercial, and non-commercial buildings.
• Performing painting and blasting projects.
• Understanding and applying various industrial paint systems.
• Preparing surfaces and applying sealants, undercoats, primers, paints, stains, epoxy coatings, and clear finishes.
• Ensuring accuracy of work, quality, colour, and materials.
• Completing colour samples and other niches protecting the surface.
• Ensuring suitable equipment and materials are used to perform the work tasks.
Skills and experience required:
• At least 3 years of extensive experience in painting and blasting projects.
• Trade qualification in Painting or closely related trade qualification.
• Understanding of Safe Work Procedures.
• Computer literacy and maintenance management (desirable).
• Organisational and time management skills.
• Able to work with a team or in isolation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
