Bakers Delight. What we do is nice and simple. We are now looking for full time, qualified and experienced Bakers , with a passion for artisan baking techniques to join our team in Swan Hill. This is an opportunity for qualified bakers to shine alongside passionate professionals dedicated to their craft.
Salary of $71000 to $74000 per annum .
The duties of the position include ( not limited to)
:checking ingredient quality and quantities prior to baking
:preparation of dough ( kneading maturing and shaping) as well as preparing fillings
: baking large quantities and adjusting temperature and baking time according to appearance of products during baking
: load and unload ovens with product
: readying products for point of sale
: cleaning bakery equipment for close of business each day
:availability including weekends. Late night and early morning shifts
: ability to work hard with an experienced and fast paced team
: initiative and be highly self motivated
: perform proper and safe operation of bakery equipment and utensils
: clear understanding of HACCP and OHS /WHS
: understanding of basic bakery theory and techniques including hand moulding : knowledge of natural fermentation and yeasted dough
: passionate about baking
: ability to work under pressure
: excellent communication skills
: punctual and well presented
