About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Body Builder/Maker to join either our AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs team to undertake quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition. This is a full-time position located in all areas of Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the vehicle’s damage to determine how to perform the restoration work
- Ensure the chassis crush is properly maintained & used appropriately
- Treat company equipment with the same respect for your own tools
- Advise the Parts Interpreter of any additional parts required not originally quoted on the estimate
- Co-ordinate with other workers in the workshop to ensure the workflow is appropriately placed
- Notify of any product shortages which would restrict production
- Check the schedule daily to ensure time-frames are met
About You:
- Trade qualified
- Mechanical knowledge to assist in the usage and maintenance of tools
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong commitment to work in a safe manner
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
- Own tools to fulfil the role
