It operates a diversified portfolio of both open cut and underground mines across New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia. They are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Ancillary Planner to join their team in the Bowen Basin, Full-Time. Your new role
Plan and schedule short- to medium-term maintenance and "Life of Asset" strategies for Light Vehicles, Ancillary Equipment, and Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME).
Oversee the purchasing and logistics processes to ensure timely availability of parts, equipment, resources, and tools.
Monitor the condition and coordinate repairs for assets, including heavy equipment, Ancillary Equipment, and Light Vehicles.
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget for all equipment.
Create weekly maintenance plans based on equipment strategies to optimise production, reduce downtime, and control costs, ensuring plant availability and reliability targets are met.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date maintenance and statutory records in the CMMS.
Communicate promptly about any potential disruptions to planned activities.
Collaborate with the mining operations team to ensure maintenance plans are aligned with production goals.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in maintenance planning in the heavy industry
Mechanical Trade Certificate
Drivers Licence
Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
Ability to DIDO to the Regional Bowen Basin Region
