The Motor Accident Insurance Commission in Queensland (MAIC) Griffith University Road Safety Research Collaboration is within the School of Applied Psychology. The research group undertake research in road safety primarily within the areas of traffic psychology, road safety related to vehicles as a workplace and motorcycle safety. The traffic psychology research team utilise state of the art technology and facilities in our traffic psychology laboratory.
We are currently looking for 2 PhD candidates to undertake research in the fields of traffic psychology and work driving behaviour, driving safety associated with vehicles as a workplace or motorcycle safety and rider behaviour.
The primary focus of this role is to commence and complete a dissertation contributing to the advancement of knowledge and theory in one of the above-mentioned road safety domains.
