Full Time Position
SALARY $110,000 - $130,000 + SUPERANNUATION

SUMMARY:
Kanj Bros Construction Pty Ltd is a reputable construction company operating across Sydney, NSW delivering high-quality infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects. We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator with experience in construction to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to the successful delivery of residential/commercial/industrial construction projects.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective management of construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, contractors, and other professionals, you will manage project documentation, ensure compliance, and support the delivery of construction projects on time and within budget.

DUTIES:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior management, including managing project documentation, organizing meetings, monitoring the budget, and ensuring efficient time management to keep the project team aligned with deadlines.
• Work in close partnership with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and other industry professionals to ensure that the project objectives, deadlines, and financial targets are consistently achieved.
• Assist in reviewing and negotiating modifications to construction project plans, ensuring all changes are accurately recorded and reflected in project documents; Develop work programs in alignment with the master construction plan.
• Act as a primary point of contact for contractors, project managers, and stakeholders, addressing queries and resolving concerns related to project timelines, resource allocation, and overall execution.
• Handle all project-related paperwork, such as contracts, work orders, and compliance reports, ensuring that documentation is completed promptly and accurately.
• Provide detailed updates and recommendations to senior management on project-related issues, implementing their decisions to ensure that projects progress smoothly.
• Liaise with construction staff and sub- contractors in planning, executing and supervising work on-site, ensuring that any deviations from the original work orders are identified and reported.
• Conduct site inspections at critical checkpoints, monitor progress, identify and report on issues which may affect the program schedule; Compile and review project progress reports and/or other relevant documents to reflect the company’s ongoing construction activities and ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements.
• Gather and assess data related to project activities, analyzing outcomes and performance to support informed decision-making and project adjustments when necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Building or similar
• At least 2 years site and construction experience, with a strong understanding of building principles, and a passionate drive to learn and grow within the role
• Knowledge of A/E/C Industry and terms commonly utilized.
• Proficiency in internet applications and MS Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word).
• Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual documentation delivery
• Ability to read drawings
• Knowledge of Design, Estimating and Procurement
• Experience in tender submission
• Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, competing priorities relative to overall corporate, client, and project needs and success with limited direction / oversight.
• Takes initiative in ensuring activities are complete and scheduled deadlines are met.
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Language:
• Proficiency with English language including effective oral and written communication skills is a must.
• Preferred Arabic as a secondary language
