Tara Forklift Services has a vacancy for a Diesel Motor Mechanic at their business.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To qualify this position, you will have;
1) AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, or equivalent or relevant experience
or
2) AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience
minimum 5 years’ experience
3) Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience.
4) Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems.
5) Diagnose any problems with the forklifts or equipment by using scanning tools and computers
6) Repairs and replacement of defective parts with reference to service manuals
7) Completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the
customer’s equipment
8) Inspect and perform routine check-ups of key components including engine, steering, transmission, suspension, and brakes
9) Repair damaged parts, units, malfunctions or deficiencies with the forklift or equipment
10) Test drive equipment to see if the fault has been rectified
Remuneration/Salary
$73, 150 to $80,000 per annum
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
