Tara Forklift Services have positions available for Lift Mechanics with Forklift experience.
About the Role
Working with an experienced and highly dedicated team, the holders of these positions will be responsible for delivering a high quality of service to our customers whilst performing scheduled maintenance and repair work. These are permanent, full-time positions.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved
· Daily workload management ensuring that all jobs are attended to within the specified time frames
· Examining and reviewing wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation on forklifts and other lifting
equipment
· Selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors on forklifts and other lifting equipment
· Diagnosing faults using electrical and electronic test equipment
· Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts
· Connecting electrical systems to power supply
· Carry out circuit testing in equipment
· Installing, testing and adjusting electric and mechanical parts of lifts
· Deliver a professional level of service at all times
· Maintain an accurate service diary/time sheet record of work performed
Qualifications and Experience
Suitable applicants will have the following:
· AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, or equivalent or relevant experience
or
· AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience
· minimum 5 years’ experience
· Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience
· Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems
Remuneration
$73,150 to $80,000 per annum
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
