Freedom Won Australia is an importer and wholesale business specializing in renewable energy storage products. Our business model focuses on distributing these products through solution providers and renewable energy solution distributors. Our market coverage spans Australia,
the Pacific Islands, and New Zealand, with plans for expansion into other parts of the Oceania region.
We currently have a position available for a Corporate General Manager.
DESCRIPTION
The Corporate General Manager plans, organizes, directs, controls, manages, and reviews the day-to-day operations and major functions of the FWA Projects Division, following the guidelines and policies of Freedom Won Australia. This role requires frequent interaction and alignment on targets, KPIs, plans, and strategies with the CEO of Freedom Won Australia.
TASKS
• Establish and optimize an effective startup and growth strategy with associated execution plans for the new FWA Projects business.
• Maintain growth strategy and execution plans aligned with agreed targets and market focus.
• Drive market development, networking, and demand generation daily, within the context of growth strategies and target markets.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure deal closure within commercial risk policies for integrated solution projects.
• Provide day-to-day direction and management of the FWA Projects business, endorsing policies and plans to meet objectives, maximize profits, and enhance efficiency.
• Assess changing situations and respond accordingly by issuing directives to staff and peers within Freedom Won Australia.
• Consult with the CEO and other FWA functions on operational methods, equipment requirements, finance, sales, and human resources.
• Authorize and manage the funding of major implementation programs.
• Represent the organization at official events, negotiations, conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums, liaising between areas of responsibility.
• Prepare or arrange the preparation of reports, budgets, and forecasts, presenting them to governing bodies.
• Select and manage staff performance in the FWA Projects Division.
• Oversee accounting, sales, marketing, human resources, and other specialist operations within the FWA Projects business.
KPIs
• Achieve growth targets on revenue as set in the strategic plan.
• Ensure projects are delivered profitably on time, and at the expected quality.
• Provide effective post-sales customer support with zero client complaints.
Qualifications and Experience
• A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification – at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar environment.
