Roles start in January 2025. 48 months of work on offer
Full-time 38 hours per week.
30 timber labourer roles on offer - no experience required.
Starting pay is $23.46/hour Level 1 as per the Timber Industry Award 2020. Additional payments or penalties are as per the Award
Onsite training provided with progression opportunities.
Monday to Friday Start 6am – Finish 2pm. Flexibility to work these hours is essential.
The role
• Sort stack and bind materials
• Use of selected hand tools
• Racking of Timber
• Assemble boxes and crates
• Grading of round poles and posts for preservation
• Operating a range of basic pre-set wood machinery
• Assist in preparation of timber orders
Criteria
• Work well in a team environment
• Safety conscious and able to follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Guaranteed commitment to shift times, being flexible and punctual
• Ability to conduct physical work in hot and cold environments
• Possess a positive working attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirty
• Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical, which includes Drug and alcohol testing
