Our client is the largest producer of Southern Bluefin Tuna in the southern hemisphere. The highest quality product is maintained by controlling the process from catching, feeding, harvesting, processing and delivery.

Roles start in January 2025. 9 months of work on offer
Casual work minimum 30 hours per week.
20 Deckhand roles on offer - no experience required.
Starting pay is $29.33/hour Level 1 as per the Aquaculture Award 2020. Additional payments or penalties are as per the Award
Onsite training provided with progression opportunities.
Monday to Sunday, Multiple shifts varying start and finish times. Ordinary hours of work are between 5am and 7pm up to a maximum of 10 hours per day.
Flexibility to work these hours is essential.

• Fish Feeding
• Fish Processing and Packing
• Vessel cleaning and housekeeping
• Net mending and rope work
• High Pressure water blasting
• Painting by hand and/or spray
• Portal hand tool use
Criteria
• Work well in team environment
• Safety conscious and able to follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• Commitment to shift times and being flexible and punctual
• Ability to stand on unstable surfaces and undertake general duties on a day-to-day basis as advised by the supervisor
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
