Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician- Mechanical to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
• Carry out the total maintenance needs of all hire fleet assets to ensure the best possible returns on expenditure.
• Maintain the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate tools are in place and maintained ready for use.
• Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment.
• Conduct weekly/monthly scheduled service plans to maintain optimum fleet performance
• Timely and effectively carry out internal maintenance and repairs, customer site installations/removals
• Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime and unnecessary repair costs
• Ensure equipment and quality satisfaction is delivered in accordance with customer expectation
• Carry out all mechanical repairs and checking of company assets in accordance with the company’s policy
• Carry out maintenance on the fleet to ensure the fleet livery is in accordance with the company’s policy and is presented to the marketplace in a condition that delights customers.
• Maintain and enhance relationships and communication with internal and external customers
• Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required
About You
To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:
• Proven experience as Diesel Fitter (at least 3 years).
• Qualified Mechanic with Australian mechanic’s license.
• Australian Driver’s License.
• Forklift License an Advantage.
• MR Truck License Advantage.
• Computer literacy
Salary
If successful, you will be paid a salary of $90,000 per annum.
