Joinery Set Out & Draftsperson

AMD Commercial Furniture is a well-established family owned business and has a proud history of manufacturing and selling quality office furniture and joinery.
AMD is seeking a well rounded enthusiastic person with a broad range of skills in the commercial office furniture industry. The successful candidate will be carrying out the following duties:
• Preparation of cutting lists and hardware requirements
• Creating programs for CNC machines using bSolid (Biesse software)
• Setting out of loose furniture and joinery using TopSolid and Microvellum
• Interpreting customer requirements into shop drawings and factory documentation

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
• Previous experience in similar role specifically in furniture manufacturing (essential)
• Qualified Cabinet Maker or extensive furniture making knowledge with understanding of production processes (essential)
• Attention to detail whilst multi tasking in a busy environment
• Be able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
• Strong understanding of working with manufacturing documentation
• Advanced skills in bSolid, TopSolid and Excel
