Location:

Intensive Care Unit, Hervey Bay Hospital (other positions at Bundaberg may also be filled through this recruitment process)

Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme https://www.careers.health.qld.gov.au/working-for-us/workforce-attraction-incentive-scheme

Remuneration:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $473,683 p.a., comprising salary between $182,106 - $266,677 p.a. (L13-L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 week p.a., professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointment. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. (Permanent Full Time 80 hours p.f.) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).

• The Staff Specialist/Senior Medical Officer (Intensive Care) provides specialist intensive care medical services within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

• Assist the Clinical Director of Intensive Care Services to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.

• Assist with the education and supervision of trainees and other medical staff, medical students, allied health and nursing staff.
