Davis Glass are currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join their team in Melbourne Vic 3000.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Responsible for programming, cold debugging, parameter setting, and trial production monitoring
- Optimize the automatic connection of glass cutting system, edging system, and tempering system to enhance overall factory operation efficiency.
- Improve the equipment control system, optimize production processes, and increase energy efficiency.
- Quickly identify and solve equipment failures through program monitoring to minimize plant downtime.
- Perform maintenance and repair of glass cutting machine, edging machine, tempering furnace, and hollow assembly line.
- Participate in the diagnosis and maintenance of major faults in the company's production equipment.
- Work within timeframes and servicing schedules and maintain records
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
- A minimum of three years’ experience
- The ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
