Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Qualified Electrician / Engineer to lead the maintenance team at a busy dockyard. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities related to a wide range of electrical systems on a variety of naval vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of electricians in performing maintenance tasks on naval vessels.
Ensure all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on a wide range of naval equipment.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Implement and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
Trade qualification as an electrician.
Extensive experience in a dockyard or similar environment.
Demonstrable leadership experience in managing a team.
