SUMMARY:
Our client, Piccolo Me ICW, established in 2023, is seeking to add a Café Manager to their vibrant and innovative team. Piccolo Me has gained a strong reputation for delivering high-quality coffee, creative menus, and cutting-edge marketing since 2012. As a trend-setter in the hospitality industry, Piccolo Me continues to attract a diverse and loyal customer base. The Café Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service at Piccolo Me ICW location.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Plan and coordinate daily café operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee and maintain inventory, ordering supplies as needed within budget constraints.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance assessments to maintain high service standards.
- Plan menus in consultation with chefs and adapt to customer preferences and trends.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times within the café.
- Maintain financial records, including stock levels and transactions, to ensure profitability.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Organise special events and functions to enhance customer engagement and café visibility.
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure quality products for the café.
- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and attract a wider customer base.
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Ensure the café’s atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and aligned with brand standards.
- Analyse daily sales reports and prepare action plans for improving business performance.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively to uphold service standards.
- Collaborate with management to identify growth opportunities and streamline operations.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a café or restaurant management role.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in staff training and development.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on efficient daily operations management.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations in food service.
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and control costs within budgetary limits.
- Experience in handling large tourist groups of up to 200 guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues.
