About the team
The City Inspectorate branch is responsible for enforcement of the Citys standards and local laws, across building, community, public safety and environmental health compliance to protect safety and amenity for the Citys residents and visitors. The Community Compliance business unit is responsible for patrolling and enforcing parking laws in Paid Parking and Timed Parking areas, off-street regulated parking areas, designated disabled parking bays, and respond to and investigate complaints and breaches of parking regulations. Review and manage unpaid parking fines and related disputes. Deliver animal management initiatives to residents including patrols and enforcement, impounding and off leash facilities, pet education, and complaints management, to ensure animals are appropriately cared for and managed in compliance with legislation.
