Due to parental leave Guma-Warnii Resources have two Tactical Purchasing Officer roles which operate within our leading mining client's Global Purchase to Pay Team across the APAC hub on a Monday to Friday roster. working 40 hours per week. In this role you will be responsible for the execution of medium complexity purchase requisitions to purchase order conversions with a focus on ensuring compliance and maximising value/savings to the business. The key success to this position will be your ability to deliver consistent results, drive continuous improvement, build credibility with business stakeholders and demonstrate a high level or energy and a can do attitude. Reporting to the Manager Regional Buy Operations (APAC) your remit will include but not be limited to:
Provide SME support to the Rio Tinto Procurement Category and Sourcing teams
Conduct multiple quote market testing for purchases
