Details: This position sits within the Fire Management Unit (FMU) of the ACT Parks & Conservation Service (PCS). This team is responsible for the planning and implementation of fire management programs across the EPSDD and TCCS estate and providing a bushfire suppression capability as well as ongoing fuel management and prescribed burning. The team is also responsible for ecological and Ngunnawal Cultural Burning. The FMU is also responsible for planning and coordination of works for over KM of management trail across the PCS estate that provides critical fire access and serves land management, community and utility access needs.
