Unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our Asphalt business as the new Laboratory Technician based in Cairns Qld.
The main focus of this position will be undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, mechanical testing, physical analysis, maintenance of records, reporting of results for our aggregate and asphalt related products. This is a permanent position with genuine development opportunities overtime.
Your day will involve:
Conducting physical testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals
Field sampling and testing on project sites
Calibration of laboratory equipment
Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operation
Assisting in the maintenance of the Laboratory according to NATA accreditation requirements
