Global provider of innovative heavy equipment with significant expansion plans, offering exciting growth Your new company Our client is a leading global provider of innovative heavy equipment solutions for the mining industry and is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee operations at their Wacol site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company and make a significant impact in a dynamic and challenging environment as they continue to grow. Your new role Reporting to the Director of Reman, your responsibilities will include;

Facilitate daily production meetings with direct reports
Provide regular performance feedback to team members, coaching employees, and contingent workforce for development of the team
Manage customer relationships through regular joint meetings to effectively align delivery performance with customer needs and expectations
Meet P&L budget and expenditure targets from the business leadership team
Ensure achievement of key performance indicators, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost, as devised by management
Co-develop tactical plans and objectives to meet company goals and objectives and execute those
Review operational processes and procedures in collaboration with engineering and quality, as they relate to repair and reman work.

What you'll need to succeed

7 years experience of working with highly engineered industrial equipment
3 years experience in leadership roles including building, growing, and leading a team of skilled workers
Trade qualifications in either Mechanical or Electrical background
Humble, knowledgeable leader, with a bias towards action and continuous improvement
Ability to influence, and lead, with frequent high impact communication with leadership and key customer interfaces.
Promote safety awareness and ensure a strong safety culture for all operations on site
Six Sigma/Quality training will be highly regarded
Strong engineering, operation, process management experience.
