To implement, communicate and apply planning principles, acting as an intermediary for and to the public, developers, Council and other Officers on statutory planning matters with a focus on established areas applications.
What you?ll be doing:
Assessing and appraising the merits of planning applications involving the application of discretionary decision-making, including the preparation of internal reports and reports to Council and Council?s Delegate in accordance with the schedule of delegation and relevant acts and legislation under supervision from Senior Planners, Team Leaders, Coordinators and the Manager where appropriate.
