What will a day in this role look like:
- Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of rail infrastructure projects, including track design, earthworks, drainage, and civil structures
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions that meet project requirements and client specifications
- Conduct technical analysis and design calculations, ensuring compliance with Australian rail standards and safety regulations
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
- Support project management activities such as cost estimation, risk management, and scheduling
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects
- Contribute to client presentations and business development initiatives
