Benefits Competitive salary Opportunity for growth Task & Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and apparatus using test equipment and hand tools to analyse cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Analyse sketches or blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment. Liase with supply authorities and builders in a professional manner. Liase with trade suppliers to determine material costs. Attend occasional after hours call outs at the nominated after hours rate Qualification & Experience The successful candidate will be required to hold: WA Electrical License Current WA Drivers License Construction White Card Working at Heights Ticket Confined Spaces Ticket Relevant qualifications / apprenticeship The candidate will also have Relevant industry experience and a sound understanding of electrical control systems The ability to work both independently and part of a team The ability to undertake manual tasks and physical work Keen and willing to learn all electrical sectors of the company Ability to work to deadlines Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work individually and in a team.
