Contour Personnel, a leading HR and executive search agency based in Australia, is partnering with our client, a global technology innovation company specializing in software product services with over 30 years of international experience. They are currently seeking a Project Lead with experience in Appian to work from their Sydney-based offices.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:
Manage overall delivery and be the point of contact for the Scrum Team
Establish communication mechanisms between the customer and other application teams
Remove impediments to ensure team success
Work closely with the Architect and assist in low-level design
Allocate work to developers
Interact with the business team to seek clarifications on requirements
Document low-level design
Develop and implement Appian applications and unit testing
Work closely with QA lead and engineers to ensure the highest test coverage
Technical Skills:
Primary Skill: Appian platform
Programming Languages: SAIL, Java, HTML
Database: MySQL, Oracle
Web Technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
Experience with Agile and Jira
Excellent communication skills
Build applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, integrations, etc.
Work with Appian object types, query rules, constant rules, and expression rules
Guide Appian developers within a delivery team ensuring best design, testing, and deployment practices are followed
Participate in analysis, design, and development of Appian-based applications
Perform impact analysis and performance management
Design SQL queries for accessing data in DB tables and views
Analyze, design, and develop process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, queries, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services, and web services
Design technical solutions and lead a small team in development activities
Lead projects and run workshops to break down epics into stories
Work with developers and architects to ensure builds meet business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Appian platform
Develop and modularize individual components for reusability
Knowledge in developing different types of records and reports
Implement best practices in designing and developing Process Models
Minimum Appian Certification (L3)
Experienced in Agile methodologies
