Alpha Plant Maintenance specialize in sales, hire, repairs, import and export of heavy equipment. We are currently looking for experienced and talented Diesel Motor Mechanics to join our team in Welshpool WA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Able to detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
* Knowledgeable repairing and replacing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanism and checking parts.
* Knowledgeable identifying faults and able to perform repair requirements in equipment and machinery of CAT and Komatsu.
* Ensure regular and performs preventive maintenance procedures are carried out.
* Responsible for the quality of their own work subjects to general supervision.
* Knowledgeable operating tools and equipment as and when required.
* Able to clean up and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
* Knowledgeable monitoring the machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running.
* Knowledgeable in machine operations
* Knowledgeable to conformance to health, safety, and environmental requirements
* Works in a safe manner and performs a pre-start checklist before commencement of work.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as Diesel Motor Mechanic.
* Experience in earthmoving vehicles and with Gecko Tanks from 10,000L up to 115,000L (desirable)
* Has an experience providing field service mechanical support to assist in maintenance and repair issues with equipment and machinery such as CAT and Komatsu (desirable)
* Excellent in English Communication skills
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 a year (commensurate to skills and experience)
