Full Time Surveyor

Land Solution Australia Pty Ltd Provide support to the company’s Senior Leaders and the Registered Surveyors in all aspects of engineering surveying, 4D, Geodetic (control) surveys, building construction, topographic and hydrographic surveying. The Surveyor will learn, develop and assist in all commercial and residential projects including document research, field and office work and undertake on-the-job training and coaching by either a Registered Surveyor and/or Senior Leaders BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Technical • Ability to complete a project from task brief through to plan of works, with limited guidance required. • Gather or set out field data and collating the resultant or separate information using computer techniques whilst working under controlled supervision. • Prepare work sheets for engineering surveys and applying all relevant checks to ensure quality of computed work. • Prepare plans to an acceptable standard. • Set out clearly all computations and checks to surveying work for checking by a Professional Surveyor. • Undertake training, maintenance of equipment, office records and in the development of new techniques and procedures. Reporting • Ensure on completion of jobs related to commercial and residential projects all timesheet hours, fees and costs are accounted through the Workflow Max CRM for invoicing to clients. • Maintain a record of work undertaken each day in Workflow Max CRM. • Communicate daily with supervising surveyor on progress of projects whilst not working under direct supervision. • Confirm technical approach for surveying task to supervising surveyor prior to commencing work • Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. Operations Management • Liaise with clients, fellow staff and members of the public with respect and courtesy at all times. • Hold information belonging to the company and to clients in the strictest confidence. • Ensure that adequate notice is given to management when required to be absent for any period for personal/business reasons. • Understand the strategic business plans and exceptional knowledge of the structure and environment in which the company operates and adhere to business strategies. • Have awareness and abide by company values, purpose, and code of conduct. • Maintain regular contact with company clients where delegated by supervising surveyor in accordance with company values and purpose • Attract new business where possible in line with business strategy and process and attend industry and/or company events to promote company’s brand when required. • Effective time management of personal calendar. Quality • Adhere to Land Solution Australia QA policies and procedures • Monitor and offer ideas for improvement of all relevant work processes for continual improvements • Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with company’s procedures and work instructions as laid down in the Company Policy Statement and the Quality Manual • Follow up and complete Corrective Actions Report issued. • Identify, develop, and implement quality and service improvement activities, protocols and procedures that enhance the services provided by the company and their delivery Qualification & Experience Bachelor degree qualification + 2 years relevant work experience.   About Company Expert surveying and spatial services.
