This is your chance! Gain invaluable hands-on experience whilst completing a 12 Month Traineeship and Certificate III in Business. Working within a local banking branch in Mount Isa, this is a real career start within a supportive environment. The successful trainee will have the opportunity to learn all about customer service within the banking sector whilst developing their customer service skills on the job. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in commencing a career within financial services sector. What will you be doing? Working full time as a Business Trainee, you will learn and develop the skills to become a successful customer advisor. You will become the first point of contact for customers when they visit the retail branch. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting customers with their enquires whilst providing a positive branch experience.
Engage in needs-based conversations with customers.
General banking and telling duties: money handling, facilitating transactions and ATM Maintenance.
Coaching customers on self-service and digital banking.
Assisting customers with opening and closing accounts, fraud and banking transactions.
What are we looking for?
Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
A well-presented team-player with excellent work ethic
Excellent communication skills and sound computer knowledge
A reliable and punctual individual who demonstrates initiative
Demonstrated ability in cash handling and/or customer service
Satisfactory completion of a National Police Check
