Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the construction of Photovoltaic (PV) systems on various projects in a leading engineering role.
Your duties will include;
• Implementing quality control measures to verify workmanship and materials meet project requirements
• Liaising with subcontractors and supplies to facilitate smooth project workflow
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, including drawings, variation orders, and as-built records
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations on-site and promoting a safe working environment
• Acting as a point of contact for clients and addressing their concerns or inquiries regarding the project
• Managing project closeout tasks, including final inspections, punch lists, and documentation handover
• Providing guidance and mentorship to graduate engineers and site personnel
About You
To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and dedication to the job
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to work under pressure and make deadlines
• Planning, problem solving and coordination skills
• Ability to work unsupervised at times
Salary
If successful, you will be paid a base salary of $100,000 per annum.
