NH Foods Australia is one of the leading beef production companies in the country. Our site at Wingham, being located on the Mid North Coast of NSW is now recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter / Machinist to join their experienced team.
This is a full-time position with the salary in the vicinity of $74,000 to $80,000.
This job involves, break down repairs, preventative maintenance and project / improvement works, giving mechanical maintenance to a wide variety of fixed and mobile plant throughout the facility.
Successful applicant should possess although not limited to the following attributes:
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Previous experience with food processing equipment, mechanical fitting an advantage
Effective time management skills
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance.
Diagnostics and fault finding.
Process improvement of plant and equipment.
Pneumatics and hydraulics.
Operate & Service Machinery.
Provide technical support to the production team.
Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.
Supervise apprentices as required.
Experience:
Appropriate trade qualifications
Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Previous experience in manufacturing environment would be highly regarded.
