The Opportunity

Come and join our Supply Chain team at our Western Port, Hastings Manufacturing facility as an Scheduler Service Centre.  In this 12 month secondment role, you will play a critical role to ensure that our products are being delivered to our customers in full and on time (DIFOT).

Reporting to the Fulfilment Leader, you will support the day-to-day fulfilment operations as well as lead a number of business improvement projects to enhance our service with cost, quality and safety in mind.

Your primary focus will be to maximise our customer experience as you manage our inventory and influence the flow of product through your interactions with logistics and customer service. You will create smart solutions and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive better communication and streamline processes.

What Will You Do?

As someone who likes variety, you can juggle numerous priorities and manage stakeholder expectations to reach favourable outcomes for customers and our business. You will:

  • plan and coordinate the flow of product through the various stages of the order life cycle
  • responsible for feed management and scheduling
  • demonstrate superior attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions
  • deliver improvements by streamlining processes and embedding standardisation through reporting
  • co-ordinate service officer implementations and reviews for the supply chain team
  • support the Project Avenir rollout
  • support the VIC service centre consolidation Project

What You’ll Bring

As an experienced professional with a background in customer service, supply chain, warehousing or logistics, combined with solid analytical skills, you will drive and implement solutions, always maintaining a strong customer focus.

You will bring:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications along with experience in supply chain (or similar) work environments
  • a positive can do attitude with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement
  • effective relationship management and influencing capability
  • be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers
  • have experience working in fast paced environments and be comfortable with change, having the ability to manage competing priorities in an efficient and effective way
  • demonstrate experience with reporting applications eg. Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel and Powerpoint including strong proficiency with pivot tables, lookup formulas and reporting)
  • demonstrate experience with various IT systems and platforms (e.g SAP, D365, Power BI, OTIS)
