Our client, Indian Beauty Secrets is actively looking for a Hairdresser to join its team on a full-time basis to be placed at their salon at Rouse Hill, NSW 2155. The business is an established chain of beauty salon and spa chain that combines both experiences in one location. Business offers a unique experience which include top quality therapy and treatment for skin, hair, laser, and beauty. They are looking for an experienced and skilled professional who can focus on each individual client's needs and put together the ultimate hair & beauty plan.
Main Responsibilities
• Perform haircuts and style cuts
• Colouring and use of different techniques, Foiling, highlighting & bleaching
• Question patrons regarding desired services and haircut styles.
• Applying different types of hair treatments including hair Botox and keratin treatment
• Provide hair and scalp treatments such as deep conditioning, scalp massages, and hair treatments for specific concerns like dandruff or dryness. They should be able to recommend appropriate products for maintenance and improvement.
• Shampoo, condition, and rinse hair
• Applying hair extensions
• Blow drying, hair washing
• Building lasting relationships with clientele
• Providing advice and assistance to clients, relative to our product range;
• Clean and sterilize scissors, combs, clippers, and other instruments
• Colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions
• Possess knowledge of various hair types, textures, and styles. They should be able to advise clients on suitable haircuts, grooming techniques, and styling products that best suit their hair characteristics.
• Stay informed about the latest haircutting techniques, grooming trends, and industry developments.
Must Have
• Certificate III in Hairdressing (Australian qualified)
• At least 2 years of Australian experience as Hairdresser
• At least 1 years of full time Australian experience as Hairdresser
Skills Needed:
• Attention to detail
• Client consultation and communication skills
• Time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills for client satisfaction
Successful candidate would be paid a base salary between A$ 70,000 to 80,000 plus Superannuation.
