Maintenance Fitter
Position Description
This role will cover the Thomastown Site equipment on afternooon shift to maintain optimum machine performance and safety requirements.
Will work closely with all employees at the site ensuring our equipment and facilities? meet all quality and performance expectations across all manufacturing processes.
Carryout maintenance (breakdown/preventative/proactive) timely and effectively to keep up the overall health/reliability of equipment, machines & services.
Timely reporting breakdowns/idle time to direct manager and assisting in root cause analysis of problems to prevent recurrence.
Focus & support on effective preventative maintenance program.
Communicating all breakdowns, improvements, modifications during the shift to next shift using shift communication log book
Flexibility to work around shifts reasonably practicably support business when required
This role will also provide quick turnaround results for after hour breakdowns on equipment giving us optimum up time.
