We now have an exciting opportunity available for a First Response/Gas Fitters/Plumbers to join our Operations team in Eagle Farm, QLD, on a Permanent Full-time basis.
Reporting to the Supervisor - First Response & Metering, you will play a key role in providing the safe and timely delivery of field activities in relation to gas escapes, disconnection and reconnection of Domestic and Commercial services, including regulators and metering equipment.
Key Responsibilities
To work as part of an efficient team under the general direction of a Supervisor or Co-ordinator
Complete supply investigation & rectification activities
Respond and Classify gas leaks, as per the APA Group Leak Management Plan
Pinpoint probable sources of gas leaks using equipment provided
Undertake activities relating to re-light appliances of end-users
Maintain constant awareness
