About the Role
The Cook is responsible for cooking, arranging, garnishing and plating dishes to a high standard, while also working independently and within a team environment. The Cook will also be involved in the planning of menus and estimating of food requirements, as well as storing food in temperature-controlled facilities.
About You
The ideal candidate would possess strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and remain calm throughout busy periods.
Essential Criteria
• Three years experience as an apprentice (Certificate III / IV Commercial Cookery or have undertaken full-time training and employment as a cook for three years.
• Hold an Australian Qualifications Framework Certificate III or a higher qualification.
• Ability to handle challenging and complex situations.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
Desirable Criteria
• Willing to relocate if needed or provide flexibility
