About the Role
The Pastry Cook will be responsible for providing high quality food services to individuals in a bust environment, as well as coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products. The Pastry Cook role will conduct regular occupational health and safety checks in their area of work.
About You
The ideal candidate would possess strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and remain calm throughout busy periods.
Essential Criteria
• Three years experience as an apprentice (Certificate III in Patisserie (SIT31016) or have undertaken full-time training and employment as a cook for three years.
• Hold an Australian Qualifications Framework Certificate III or a higher qualification.
• Ability to handle challenging and complex situations.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
Desirable Criteria
• Willing to relocate if needed or provide flexibility
