Your new role
Based in Port Macquarie, as a seasoned project manager, you will be at the helm of delivering projects safely and successfully from production through to testing and acceptance. You will lead your project team to achieve outcomes within the defined time, budget, and scope. Your exceptional customer engagement and stakeholder management skills will be pivotal in influencing outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role encompasses comprehensive project planning, meticulous scheduling, and rigorous control and monitoring of work scope, budgets, and schedules. You will oversee the performance of project tasks for your company, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring excellence at every stage.
What you'll need to succeed
Australian Citizenship is essential due to defence security restrictions.
Must be willing to relocate full time to Port Macquarie.
Extensive project management experience, preferably within the defence sector.
Proven track record in managing major and/or complex projects.
Outstanding leadership abilities, particularly in coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
Exceptional team player with strong influence and stakeholder engagement skills.
Formal qualifications and/or training in Project Management.
Engineering knowledge, experience, or understanding.
