Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will:
Undertake accurate and efficient preparation of financial accounts, tax returns and other tax reporting obligations for a number of clients
Preparation of Income Tax Returns from source documents to review stage
Preparation of year end
Preparation of Business and Instalment Activity Statements (BAS & IAS)
Liaison with clients to address queries promptly and accurately
Liaison with the ATO or other third parties on behalf of clients when required
About you:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 5 years of Australian experience in public practice.
Experience in the Medical or Allied Health industry desirable but not essential
Completion or completing CPA or CA essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, able to work under pressure
Excellent time management skills, well-organized to meet internal/external requirements and deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a team
